July 30, 2007 $100,000 CHALLENGE FOR The MPCCF is pleased to announce that it has met the fundraising challenge of $100,000 set by an anonymous supporter more than 2 months ahead of deadline. The final significant donation of $5,000 for construction costs of the future Performing Arts Center was pledged during the Annual Harbor Lights Gala held at the Montauk Lake Club on July 28, 2007. Playwrite Edward Albee was able to announce the wonderful news at the event. While the MPCCF is thrilled with this exciting news, funds are still
needed to move forward on the construction of the planned Performing

December 2006 $100,000 GRANT FOR The MPCCF is thrilled to announce that on December 1, an anonymous donor awarded the MPCCF a grant of $100,000 to be applied toward construction costs of the future Performing Arts Center. In addition, the donor pledged a matching grant for payment in 2007. The donor will match, on a dollar-for-dollar basis, up to $100,000 of “significant new donations” to the MPCCF that are received during the period December 1, 2006 through October 15, 2007, and which are designated for the future Performing Arts Center. "Significant new donations" are defined as donations of $5,000 or more received from any individual or from any non-governmental entity, exclusive of donations which are in fulfillment of pledges received by the MPCCF prior to December 1, 2006.
