For $1000, donors may purchase the naming rights to a seat in the theater of the future Performing Arts Center. Donors are also given the chance to choose the seat they want to name. Pledged donations may be made over multiple years.

The Theater Committee of MPCCF has been working closely with theater-design firm ARTEC Consultants on all aspects of the future Performing Arts Center, including acoustics and soundproofing; space planning of the theater, lobby and accessory spaces; and seating layout. Kathleen Beckmann, Theater Committee Chair, feels that
“by taking into account the needs and wants of the community and working within the confines of the historic Montauk Playhouse, the Committee and consultants have done an extraordinary job in designing a 299-seat Performing Arts Center that will position the Montauk Playhouse Community Center as a premier cultural institution.”
